We are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior PHP Developer to join our growing software company in Bratislava.

You will work on long-term customer projects in the e-commerce domain while also contributing to internal activities that help us grow and improve as a company. :)

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Tech Stack: PHP, Symfony, OXID eShop (experience with OXID is "nice to have",not a must), AI-supported development tools (Claude, Codex, or similar), MySQL, API Integrations and unit tests.

  • Develop and optimize backend solutions for e-commerce systems

  • Design and implement API integrations

  • Create automated unit tests and participate in code reviews

  • Research and evaluate new technologies and frameworks

  • Analyze and fix issues in existing codebases

  • Contribute to architectural improvements and performance optimization

Personality requirements

ABOUT YOU
Of course you are an amazing, honest and fun-to-work-with person. On-top of that you should bring those skills along:

  • You have 5+ years of professional experiences in the PHP (Symfony) development

  • Experience with OXID eShop is a strong advantage

  • Solid understanding of OOP, APIs and backend best practices

  • "AI Friendly" (Cloude Code, Codex or similar)

  • Experience with unit testing and E2E testing

  • Strong debugging and performance optimization skills

  • Nice to have: Docker, Kubernetes or if you can speak German language

  • You feel good in an agile environment, have a teamwork mindset and ready to learn something new.

  • You have good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
